I have been saying from the beginning that Paris Hilton’s debut record Paris is indeed a strong pop record. Seriously. Take her and her vocals out of it. That is some strong pop writing. Not every inch of the album, but a fair amount of it.
And look people. Lady Gaga, the top pop-songwriter of the current day and age agrees. She even looks into the camera and says “Seriously”.
So shut your mouths.

Incredible song. Cool video.
I’ve gotta say, it’s probably hard to be a female pop musican today and even attempt to create anything as visually unique as Lady Gaga is producing. However, while Cheryl Cole’s 3 Words video does seem like a bit of a poke at the Lady’s recent Bad Romance video, it holds it’s own. Not to mention, 3 Words is an honestly superb track.
I’m actually starting another ‘girlband’ tune this week, and I’ve using Cheryl’s whole album as a creative springboard for how I would like the song to sound.
